Care That Feels Like Home

A transitional housing program for young adults ages 18-21, including youth transitioning out of foster care. We are currently preparing to open our first home.

Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud - Maya Angelou

For young adults aging out of foster care, the transition to independence can often happen with little warning and even less support. M & N Estates was created to make affordable housing and with that it’s important to close that gap our youth is facing and help provide long term housing so that turning 18 doesn’t mean facing homelessness.

Our Promise

Every young person who come through our doors deserves stability, respect, and a real path forward not just a bed. We promise to treat every resident with dignity, to be transparent with caseworkers and partners every step of the way, and to keep working toward long term housing solutions, not just a temporary stay.

We promise to meet every resident where they are and not where a system expects them to be. Whether someone needs more support in their first few months or is ready to move quickly toward independence, we adjust with them, not against them.

Our

Services

We offer a secure, fully furnished home based for young adults ages 18-21 years old, while they build toward independence, during one of the most vulnerable transitions in their life.

Safe, Stable Housing

A Real Sense of Community

It’s more than just a place to stay, residents are welcomed as part of a supportive and family like environment that allows them to feel as though they are at a place where they’re known and looked out for.

Community Resource Connections

When needed, we help point residents toward third party services such as education, employment, or benefit programs that are based on what’s available locally and what the individual resident is looking for.

Your Questions, Answered

Who can refer a young adult to your program?

We accept referrals from case managers, independent living coordinators, social workers, and authorized agency partners. Families or self referrals may also contact us, but placement is coordinated through a review process.

How does the referral process work?

Once a referral is received, we will review the young adult’s needs and current situation, confirm availability, and coordinate directly with the referring case manager to plan a smooth transition.

Do you provide medical or clinical services?

No. We are not a medical or treatment facility. We provide housing only, for any medical needs a third party will be referred to come in.

What makes your program different?

We focus on providing a stable, respectful home environment where young adults can transition into independence with dignity. Our goal is consistency, safety, and strong collaboration with agency partners.
